Rawon Bu Ros And The Love Story

After a long day of work and some delicious talks about the best Rawon spots in Bali with the marketing and venue manager, I drove myself straight to my all-time fave: Rawon & Ayam Goreng Bu Ros. I debated between takeaway or dine-in… and thought, you know what? Just sit, girl. Enjoy this moment. So I did. Even though the service tested my patience — others got their food first while I sat there like an unpaid extra — I refused to let it ruin my mood. Because some dinners are more than food. They’re space to breathe. But here’s the twist… A couple sat next to me. They were physically there, but emotionally? Lost in their screens. No conversation. No spark. Just scrolling. TikTok, IG, maybe even dating apps — who knows. And I thought… Damn. This can’t be love. Because when I’m with someone — really with someone — I don’t want to waste the moment. I want deep talk, messy laughter, shared bites, eyes that don’t just glance but see. I want attention, not just presence. So...

His Love Found Me This Morning

Image
This morning, I woke up with tears in my eyes. Not from pain… but from a strange, beautiful ache in my heart. The kind of ache you feel when something divine touches you. I couldn’t explain it at first—why my heart felt so full, why I cried before I even said a word. But then, I understood. It was Him. It was His love. Suddenly, I was flooded with memories—moments in my life where things didn’t make sense at the time. When I was lost, tired, uncertain, heartbroken, or simply numb. And yet… I made it through. Not because of my own strength, but because He never left me. I cried because I was reminded of how good God has been to me. How He’s carried me through every storm I thought would drown me. How His grace caught me every time I fell. How His love never gave up on me—even when I gave up on myself. This morning, I remembered His resurrection. And it hit me: if He could conquer death for me, what else wouldn’t He do? There’s nothing He won’t redeem. Nothing He can’t restore...

Less Noise, More Soul

Hidup Apa Adanya, Tanpa Kepalsuan

The Sincerity I Found In Him

Image
2024 was the hardest year I have ever had to go through.  It forced me to accept something I never imagined — a breakup with someone I built a future with, dreamed with, and shared years of love and care. Distance was the biggest challenge, and in the end, it became the reason we had to let go. Do I hate him? No. Do I still love him? Without a doubt. Love doesn't just disappear just because circumstances change. Letting go was not about falling out of love; it was about accepting that sometimes, love alone is not enough to keep two people together. But as painful as this year has been, 2025 is about something else. It’s about choosing myself, learning to love myself more, and giving myself space to reflect. Steffen will always be someone I love because no matter where life takes us, he never truly left me. There were times I questioned if he still cared, if he still loved me as deeply as I loved him but then I realized, he was never just my boyfriend. He was my partner, my best fr...

But, Perfectly so! 💜

Image
I don’t want to settle Want someone to sweep me off my feet And speak it slow that I’m special  Someone who likes me because  But then loves me despite  Despite all of my baggage, the battle scars and the fights I want love that’s imperfect But, Perfectly so For people are made from their shortcomings, their worries and lows And know I’ll hold you in the same light  Through your highs and the downers too I’ll treat your frowns in the same way as a smile for they’re both you Both grew from a person, who’s split by love and hurting  We all carry both halves, so want one who loves me and my worst and accepts me for that  Holds me intact Don’t want to settle for someone who runs when the going gets bad Because the going can add the deepest meaning to your life So find someone who wants your dark days as much as your light

Woman After Heartbreak

Image
To the man that loves woman after heartbreak  To the hello that comes after goodbye To the rain that was falling but watered the garden And the one that brings the flowers back to life  To the tears they catch but didn’t make them fall  To the strong and sturdy shoulders helping her get older  And the one that gets forever after all It ain’t fair and it’s hard to understand  It ain’t easy but you do it because you can  You don’t see my heart as secondhand  And baby, that’s why it takes a man  To love woman after heartbreak  To the architect that breaking down the house  The carpenter and painter  The all night renovator, building her up from the ground  Thanks for all you didn’t have to do  When I met you, I was jaded, sad and complicated  You’ll never know how much I needed you  No, you’ll never know ho much I needed you  Thank you to the man that loved this woman after heartbreak
