STAND STRONG ON YOUR STORY

In all ranks of life, the human heart yearns for the beautiful; and the beautiful things that God makes are his gift to all alike. 🌻 HARRIET BEECHER STOWE 🌻

When we think of beauty, we automatically think of something pleasant to look at. But real beauty is often much more complex than that. Sometimes beauty is a lesson learned. Sometimes it's a dream realized. Sometimes it's a story come full circle—pain that eventually holds spiritual meaning and moments of delight found in the nooks and crannies of otherwise difficult circumstances.

Yourchildhood is not your identity. It's path you've already walked. You can move forward purposefully build a life you love.

As you build the life you want, the way you see your story can either take away energy or fan the flame. You have the power to decide. All of us, we may have experienced hardship and trauma that many of us cannot comprehend. And if you did, I am so very sorry.

The good news is that God can and will use all of it. It will take emotional work and determination, but your experience do not dictate your story!

And remember: standing strong on your childhood—as perfectly imperfect as it may be—doesn't mean approving of or being grateful for everything that's happened to you. Instead, it means rising up and choosing to respond in strength, to be an overcomer—because you are more than what has happened to you. It's also so important to acknowledge that, in some cases, working through trauma with a trained professional—to dig deep into your history, to heal, and to unearth the beauty of who you are now and who you can become—is so beneficial.

Beauty from ashes. Strenghth from struggle. Resurrection from rubble. God never told us it'd be easy, only that He'd never leave or forsake us. We live in a fallen world, but God promises that we can do all things through Christ, who gives strength.

May you rise from what's been burned to the ground in your life, soaking in the healing rain of earned strenghth and God's boundless love. May you always remember you were bought for a price by the One who loves you endlessly regardless of your past or current circumstances. May your heart be soothed by a hopeful song of the beauty that is to come.

Reflection 💫

What has been burned to the ground in your own life? big and small? 🔥

What has risen or bloomed from the ashes of those challenges? 🌷

Beauty is often born out of brokenness.
Detail the strength you've found from your own struggles.
